The worst part of being in college is knowing exactly what you want to do with your life

but knowing there isn't a major for it. All I want is to travel every inch of this wide world to change my idea of beauty. I want to see the rich, the impoverished, the mountains, the waters, the deserts, the trees, the animals, the tears and the laughs. I want to absorb it all before I run out of time. I want to talk with people and learn other customs, to dance to music I've never heard, to eat foods I can't pronounce, to see where others come from. Because, more than anything, I believe the biggest sin is to remain in the comfort your society has provided you without seeing what else the world can offer.

Crossing the English Channel

So when I went to Europe this summer, we crossed the English channel on a giant car ferry. And the captain was like, "oh it's always windy like this, should be smooth sailing."

...Flash to 30 minutes later when my father, sister, and I are all vomming up our souls next to a chinese family in the women's restroom.
