— losing you
Wonho... I miss you BB.
The world tilts on its axis when his lips meet yours. You’ve been waiting for this for so long, it feels almost like this is a dream—like you are walking across clouds and stars, like your heart might burst out of your chest at any second. But the weight of his hands on your face pulls you down to Earth so quickly it gives you whiplash, and then you are finally kissing back, hands gripping at his hips like you’re afraid he might disappear any second.
Hoseok grins when your lips part, his forehead resting against yours. It’s the smile you fall in love with every time you see it, the boy you fall in love with every time you see him. “Did you miss me?” He asks, breath fanning your face—and if it were anyone else, you would’ve been annoyed, but you’ve long since given up on ever being annoyed with anything Hoseok does. He can do no wrong in your eyes, because you know the heart that beats in his chest is not capable of bad, of wrong.
“I did,” you whisper, because speaking any louder might break this moment, this bubble you’ve both found yourselves in. It’s been too long since you last saw him—days and weeks passing by so slowly, so torturously, without him by your side. Your best friend and most fierce supporter. “Why did you kiss me?”
The question doesn’t burst the bubble, doesn’t take you back to a second before his eyes met yours. “Because I’ve been wanting to for so long.” His nose brushes against yours as angles his lips closer, hovering just shy of kissing you again. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be,” you reply, curling your hands tight around his shirt. “Do it again.”
When Hoseok’s lips meet yours again, he drops his hands down to your waist, pulling you closer. This kiss doesn’t convey the longing of the last one. This kiss isn’t the climax of separation, an unexpected reunion. This kiss is desperate, hungry—it’s claiming something that you’ve been wanting for so long. And this is definitely something that you have been wanting, needing, for so, so long. You have yearned for his lips on yours, his hands on your waist, his heart in your palms.
“Don’t leave ever again,” you beg, breathless, head dropping to his chest.
“I won’t,” he whispers, “I promise.”
