Look who's back, back again, Comet's back, yes she's back... I had just gotten out of the outhouse after my shower when I heard a meow from a distance that was distinctly Comet's voice. So I called out her name. Mind you it's midnight when I did. Then a meow answered me. In my heart I knew this was her. As i kept calling for her to follow my voice her meows got closer coming from the neighbor's backyard. I could hear the stress in her voice. I kept telling her "come to me baby girl come to me. I know it's you. Follow my voice. Climb up to the rooftop and I'll get you." A few minutes later in the dim light behind our Calamansi tree I see a form of a cat. I knew it was her even if I couldn't see her entirely. She went to the part of the roof where she's used to me giving her elevator services. I told her to wait for me and don't go anywhere as I ran into the house to get her "elevator" fearing that she might disappear. I ran back out, all the while saying loudly to not go away, I'm coming to get you...and totally woke ma up. She had circled the fence and went on the outhouse roof where I put the sack close to her and told her to get in...which she did. All the while i had yet to see her under any light. As i put the sack down, out she popped her head and the weight of stress and feeling of joy and relief washed over me that I burst into tears. Ma came out and was asking if she really cane back. Both of us were so happy to have her back. Comet went all over the place, meowing and chattering. Ma had hired some guys to work on stuff that needed work on the house so a lot of stuff got cleared out and moved around so she was a bit confused. Her collar was removed btw 😒and she lost weight but looks unharmed at least. I'm just glad whomever had her decided to release her. Probably got tired of hearing me call out for her at different hours throughout the day for the past week. Thank you everyone for all your prayers and concern and special thanks to everyone that shared my missing cat post. Hopefully I can prevent her from disappearing right before her departure date. Tot this was my last pic of him, coz my newest rescued baby ran away after this shot taken. I tried to put his lil box & bed outside the house but still no sight of him for a few days till I’d remember I read an article of asking the local stray cat to help to locate the missing kitty. Which I talk to two stray around the area for help and told them how much I miss him. And voila, he came back the next day. It worked like a magic!
