Someone asked about Caterpillar yesterday, so I thought I'd post her stealing wooden mushroom props. She's doing well lately. For those who don't know, she is missing three feet with only her front left paw intact. The goober lives in a bin cage with extra bedding because she moves best in fluffy tunnels. Now. Tough times...

Well, it has came and gone for most people. Yes, all of you have gone through tough times.. I know, I haven't posted on here in awhile so most of you following me forgot about me.. But, I am coming to my tumblr family asking for help... I am in a tough situation with not having health insurance, and fighting for SSI. So, I am reaching out to my tumblr family and friends asking for some help paying for my medical needs.. I have been in and out of the hospital the last 2 months for a ear infection and severe bursitis in my right stump. Seeing as I cannot work this has put a huge strain on me and my friends and family financially.. I am really hoping you guy's can help me out. Introduction

I have decided to do a blog about my daily life.. My name is Shane, I am a double amputee. I was born without my legs above the knees. Before I was born my parents got a call from the Navy doctor (my father was in the Navy) and he told my parents that he could not deliver me at the Navy hospital. He explained to my parents that I was going to be born with an enlarged bladder and she needed to see a specialist at a civilian hospital. So, my mother went to see the civilian doctor and they did all the tests and sent my mother home. Well on July the 3rd my parents got a call from the civilian doctor, he said "I have some good and bad news. Your son is not going to be born with an enlarged bladder. But we did find out that your son will be born without his lower legs." So, needless to say the Navy covered up that I was going to be born without legs to my parents. I am 26, I have a wonderful 5 year old boy! I have been through a lot in my 26 years, so I figured it would be good to do a daily life blog, and share some stories about my life. If nothing crazy happens, or there's not much to share about my day I will post a story from my past. I hope everyone enjoys!
