Sad but true. Aprils a sorta sad month for me. My Dads death anniversary is this month and my moms Birthday would've been this month. He would be 81 had he lived and he died on April 24th, of 2008. My Mom's birthday would've been April 16th, 1938 and she would be 79 had she not passed away Sept. 1st, 2014. I miss them both more than I could possibly ever tell in words. The month of April has a couple of reasons for me to reminisce memories of the past of both my mom and dad. This week, I scored some vintage photographs of my parents from my cousin's. So, I thought I would post these today as tomorrow, April 16 would have been my Mom's 79'th birthday had she lived. She passed away September 1, 2014. My dad passed away April 24, 2008. For those of you that wondered, this is what got me started with wet shaving. I got this classic style razor, as a Christmas gift last year. This is the one that Rick from the TV show "Pawn Stars", advertises. Didn't start using it until June when my friend Bryan Powell Jr. aka @bladelover91 and I started becoming interested in it. Prior to this, the last time I remembered shaving with one of these, my dad was alive. He taught me how to use this type originally and I've really been missing him this year. But this razor brings back lots of good memories. Thanks to Chris and my daughter Beth for the awesome Christmas gift last year. I guess it's sorta your fault I'm into Wet Shaving now as a hobby. Lmao. Btw my mom passed away a year ago September 1, and last Christmas and this one for that matter, just isn't the same without her and even more so since both are gone.
