Several thoughts constantly cross my mind mostly related to Vmin, Jimin and other members and I even write amazing, lengthy blog posts on various topics all in my head while driving to and from work, Lmao! After which I promise myself I will go right ahead and jot everything down the moment I get some free time...but yeah as you can see that never happens. Sigh.

However, in all honesty life has been keeping me on my toes off late. And, I shouldn't complain. I am happier to be busy rather than sitting around twiddling my thumbs, doing nothing but waiting for the boys to be discharged. I took a much needed long(ish) vacation around Christmas and the New Year. I am determined to change certain aspects of my life and I need to put a lot of time and energy towards that apart from the full time job I have in hand. So that keeps me extra busy. In my free time I go for walks or play some sport with my girl gang, catch up on K-dramas and to get my BTS fix , at times I still watch Run BTS episodes, haha. I still surf Vmin related videos now and then or times when I am missing them a little extra. I try to keep myself up to date with what Jin and J-hope are up to, and that is mostly via IG. However tbh I don't watch the Run Jin epis and I have not watched J-hope's Wewerse lives as well.

What did you guys think of Jin's album? I liked it. I listened to a few songs more than the others but overall I think the quality of songs was great and had repeat value. Running Wild gave me the same feels as The Astronaut, which I prefer slightly over RW however still great, hummable and feel good which is what he was going for, given the title of the album.

I am happy for the ARMYs that will get to attend J-hope's concerts around half the world while I fully realize that a day like that happening to me seems a very distant dream as of now.

In the meanwhile and in the back of my head time is always ticking towards the June reunion and I am counting months with a wide smile on my face because it is 2025 and what do you mean in less than 5 months they're all gonna be together??!! Woot woot.

Surviving the VMin drought (again)

Why am I suddenly missing VMin so much?

Honestly the first half of 2024 sans Vmin (and tannies) wasn't as horrible as I had expected. The boys had worked hard and left us many things to cherish and admire and not feel their absence so intensely. I think I was gloomy the first two or so weeks after their enlistment but things started to get better afterwards. Excitement started building up when MUSE was announced and while patiently waiting for it, we got the surprise of our lives!

On Jin's discharge day, not only did we see all the members together which was true sight for sore eyes but guess what...we witnessed the daddy of all hugs, THE VMin hug which went viral immediately. No one, and I mean no one can ever come close in expressing love and longing, the way these two, towards each other. It spreads so much joy just looking at the two wrapped up in each other while the world around them became a mere blur for those several seconds. I mean I don't know about others but that hug added a few years to my life, haha.

Then, AYS ran up until September, and keeping aside the insane amount of hate generated online towards VMin because of whatever idiotic delusions of the Xkook ships/ haters/ antis. it was a bonus for Vminnies. To our great joy Tae was there too in Jeju and those three episodes kept us afloat in the middle of the year. Honestly watching Vmin in the first Jeju episode made me actually cackle at how easily and often they just drift away and get locked in their own bubble even with JK around who they both adore, treat like a baby and prioritize often. They kind of even snubbed him lightly inside the play area (whatever it was called) and made it all about each other the whole time. Watching them like this in front of JK (who seemed all too used to this kind of behavior from VMin) convinced me that these two are capable of making even God feel like the third wheel, was he to come in front of them, Lol!

I do know that something changed in episode 2 and 3 and Tae seemed a little aloof. To me it seemed like at least a 180 shift in behavior, from both Tae and JM towards each other. I have a theory off course it's just something that I think might have happened .(Nothing serious but sort of JM and Tae both realizing OR being reminded what the main concept of the show was and who/ what should be the focus and hence altering their behavior on the show to being less clingy and more aware) But, all in all AYS was great for Viminnies.

I don't know...something about October ending without a VMin sighting (or hearing/ reading anything from them as a duo) has got me. I was just hung up on last year's October so much that this year's October felt like a VMin anniversary. Of some kind. And when the anniversary passed with pin drop silence from the main cast I experienced withdrawal symptoms, Lmao!

I also seem to have come to a 100% realization there won't be any VMin sightings shortly either. Until their reunion in June, anyway. So I have no hope of any messages from Jimin on Tae's birthday.

Off course all this also sounds pretty selfish you know? And entitled, too? Like why would VMin feel obligated to write to each other on Soc for the fans (shippers?) They can very well talk to each other, write messages and see each other's face everyday and might be even doing it all, we just have no way to know. So, off course they'll wish each other privately this year but there won't be any SM posts. Unless...unless..we are surprised yet again just like it happened in June (seriously I am actually going to cry for real if that happens) but yeah gotta keep expectations super duper low. I have a nagging feeling the remaining months are going to be the drought we dreaded and need to find ways and means to survive this. 7 months of labor pain.

God bless V for his Christmas collab gift to us that's coming out soon. This is a kind of song which seems to be tailor made for his voice. I am so looking forward!

Our ray of hope, our Hobi is free and I couldn't let October end without saying how happy I feel that 2 out of 7 are out and about, making music, getting busy, posting their face now and then on soc and all around just living their normal life.

I would really love if Hobi and Jin could do a short series, a live or some RUN HOBI+JIN sort of thing together. I am just dying to see two bangtan members interact and grace our screens. It's been a while, you know. BTS is a group where any permutation and combination between any two or more boys work and seeing the members interact, bouncing off each other's energy is just so natural, relatable, and fun.

P.S: October will soon be gone and even though I knew it in my heart that there will be no Jimin (much less Vmin) sighting, it still is disappointing that we did not get to see any interaction between them. I remember last year October was a literal fest for Vminies! Ah! what memories. My heart swells thinking about it.
