Do you prefer BBS in it's recommended order? Personally I think it's more interesting to play Terra last (for first timers) because playing through Ventus and Aqua you wouldn't know that Terra is innocent and was manipulated.

Recommend Order for Reference: Tva

Order I played it in: Vat or Vta (or at least I know Ventus was definitely first, not sure if I played Aqua or Terra last) 

I did it in that order because Ventus has all the Radiant Garden cameos bar Braig and Kairi.

For me personally it’s whatever I feel like doing? But as for first timers, well the reason they recommend that order is A.Terra plays way different from other Kh games so the developers thought he would be tricky for players and that if you went from Ventus and Aqua who are more typical to Terra it would be awkward  B. That’s similar to the order they visit the worlds in. Ven and Terra take turns going first. Aqua is always last with the exception of Deep Space. 

But I think it’s down to personal preference really. Cause for some people Terra is the easiest playstyle and I think it’s pretty easy to keep track of how these stories interact no matter what order you play in. 

I think each combo offers it’s own benefits. Bbs is told from the three narrow viewpoints of three different people who seem determined to go down Greek tragedy style. Because of that there’s a lot of accusations and misunderstandings flung about that, depending on who you are playing as, may appear true. But then you go and play as the accused and suddenly realize the accuser was being a butt. And then a character you haven’t played as will say something and it will seem right the frick out of nowhere til you go play their story and see how it got to that point. The different orders offer different experiences and that is really really cool. 

I think the only reason there’s a recommended at all was that some people were going to be indecisive to the point of wanting someone to just tell them what to pick. And there’s nothing wrong with that but i don’t think it’s inherently the best way to play.
