Founded: 1980 Mission Miss Namibia ultimately represents her country and its people, both at national and international events. Together with honours and the prizes, come the duties and responsibilities associated with her title. She is afforded a unique opportunity to make a difference to the lives of many Namibians and to promote her country’s interests. Description Every year, the Miss Namibia Pageant celebrates beauty with a charitable cause, by crowning one deserving young woman to carry the title of Miss Namibia. This honour initiates her drive to bring charity to the less-privileged; to promote deserving social causes; to serve as an example of purposeful living by the young and to bring honour and pride to our Nation as a representative of goodwill and an ambassador for Namibia.
