Hrrrmmm...what am I?
As I walked beneath the trees, this anxious fox squirrel kept a close eye on me. Fun fact, their whiskery hairs are called vibrissae and are used as touch receptors.

One of my (somewhat) secret spots. I've been coming here with my father since I was about 8 years old. The winter blue sky is lovely now, but in the spring a chorus of frogs trill and lichens perk up carpeting the surrounding clayey landscape. Near St. Louis.
