I have a pretty good understanding of what I have to do, what jobs I need to take on and what to decline. When I get offers to create something in exchange of exposure, I usually decline because exposure doesn’t pay the bills and that is a reality that we are all facing. However, I am not saying we can’t do things for free at all! There are projects that are worth more than just money. Giving back to society and helping others, why the hell not? Personally, it makes me the happiest when I’m able to help where I am needed. . Three years ago, I was invited to join a group of moms who have children with Down Syndrome and together we formed @misspossibilities - it’s a pageant for people with special needs and the very first in Asia. I made their logo and the annual t-shirt design. This is one of the causes I want to help and support with whatever talent I was given. You, too can do it! Just make sure, of course that you still have the bandwidth to do so. Have a great weekend! #misspossibilities (at Henry-Lee Irwin Theater, ADMU)
