“Are you shitting me right now? You’re really going to let him get away with this?” You asked while thrusting your hand out towards the cocky assistant. He was just standing there like he was the most innocent thing in the world. You knew better than to believe that he was anything near innocent. He was the one who had plotted this happening, you just knew it.
Your father sighed and put his hands softly on your shoulders. You knew that he was trying to calm you down and you hated that it always worked. He always seemed to know how to get you calm no matter how angry you were.
“(f/n), please don’t be angry with him. This meeting is necessary and you know that. Wesley was only doing as he should by scheduling it. I’ve put it off long enough. I really do apologize for it cutting into our time together.” A pout took place on your face without your control. The time you and your father spent together was already being cut in half due to his time with Vanessa, and now it was being cut even more due to this stupid meeting. The one time both of your schedules match up and now it was being spoiled.
You sighed and gave him a soft smile. “I guess we’ll just have to wait a little longer, huh? Some things are just meant to be…I guess.” The smile that he gave you was the special one he saved for you, and it made your heart warm. Despite what people thought of your father, he was a nice man…most of the time.
“I’m so glad you understand. I’ll let Wesley escort you back-” You held up your hand to cut him off. Only you could get away with doing something like that.
“I think I’m fine. I’d rather be driven by the Russians. I’ll be fine on my own. Don’t worry, I’ll call you when I get home.” You placed a kiss on his cheek and smiled.
Before you could leave, you turned back to both of them. “Bye dad.” Your eyes went over to Wesley and you could feel your eyes narrow. “Lap dog.” With that final jab, you strutted out of the room with a satisfied smirk on your face.

A loud groan fell from your lips as you let your head fall to the seat of the van. It had been over ten minutes and you didn’t know if you could stand another moment of being in a car with Wesley. Your father had sent him over to get you and you’ve been forced to endure his presence for much too long.
Wesley looked up from the laptop he’d been typing on and up to you. “What? Did the princess break a nail?” He asked in a mocking tone.
You looked at him and glared. “Not yet, but I will not hesitate to break a nail on you.“
One of those annoying smirks came to his face. "That sounds oddly sexual, don’t you thing?” You sputtered in shock while trying to think of a comeback.
In the end you settled for, “Shut up asshole.” It wasn’t as elegant as you wanted it to be, but it was something.
“You kiss your father with that mouth?"
"Do you kiss your mother’s ass with that mouth. You do it for dad enough. I’m just curious to know if you kiss everyone’s ass?” His jaw set and you smiled happily.
“Obviously not yours.” You would never admit it to anyone but yourself, but you actually liked it that way. Wesley not being like all of the other minions was why you put up with his bullshit for so long.
You shrugged and looked at your nails as if you weren’t interested in the conversation. “Well that could change. You sometimes forget who I am. I don’t know about you, but I know my father won’t like that.” His jaw clenched harder and you fought the urge to stick your tongue out at him childishly.
He looked like he was about to say something, but the car stopping cut him short. You didn’t wait for the driver to open your door and chose to open it yourself. It wasn’t like you couldn’t do something as simple as open a door. Everyone other than your father and Wesley treated you as if you couldn’t even wipe your own ass.
“You know you’re supposed to wait.” Wesley called from behind you. You didn’t even spare him a glance.
“Well unlike you I’m not afraid of doing things for myself.” You quipped before walking into the restaurant your father had wanted you to meet in. Wesley followed you not too much later. You raised an eyebrow at him and he only gave you a blank stare. That was the Wesley you liked: the one who shut up and didn’t speak. As long as he stayed that way, you’d get along just fine.

You had been bickering back and forth for the past five minutes now, and it didn’t look like either of you would be reaching an agreement any time soon. During that time, the disagreement had just turned into the two of you shooting jabs at each other that had nothing to do with what it had started out as.
Your father, who was still in the car, had finally gotten sick of you two bickering. “Enough!” Both of you stopped immediately and looked at him. He had that angry look on his face and you knew better than to speak at the moment.
“If you two are going to act like children for this entire ride then I’m going to treat you as such. Stop the car.” You looked at him with confusion clear on your face. What was he doing?
As soon as the car stopped, he turned to you with a disapproving look on his face. “You’ll be riding in the other car.” Your eyes widened in shock.
“But I didn’t do anything. Wesley was the one-"
"I most certainly was not.” He protested before you could finish. You turned to glare at him, but your father stopped you from saying anything back.
“Do not say another word. You two will no longer be riding in the same car since you insist on arguing. Felix will be driving you from now on (f/n).”
“Well why can’t he-“ The look your father was giving you meant that there would be no arguing your way out of this one. With one last glare to Wesley, you got out of the car while mumbling curses at him.
As you sat alone in the second car, you were plotting ways to get back at him. He may have won that battle, but he wasn’t winning the war.
I have a question for submissions in general. If I submitted something, would I post it to my blog first and then submit? Or would I submit it here and that be it?
Hello there! If you wanted to submit anything to our blog, we prefer that you send in whatever you want to submit through us. So, the latter. Do submit it here and that will be it! xx
