My love for snowboarding started when I was 12 years old. I had been skiing since I was 1 and wanted to try something new. To be honest it was because I wanted to be like my older sister @maribuaas 😜 Immediately, as I strapped my feet to the board, I could feel a connection I had never felt before... Even though I fell over most of the time 😊 A lifelong journey was about to begin... I quickly progressed & at age 14 I did my very first snowboard contest. Today, 18 years later I am still competing on the professional world tour. I try to wake up everyday reminding myself to feel grateful for this adventure, for everything I have and for everything that is to come...
