I completely agree. I mean our fandom discusses ships, but ultimately we understand they aren’t the real point of THG and that it’s not just some silly love story. It’s despicable that the media completely ignores the meat of the story.
I can't think of anything else there is to add. Completely agree.

maybe they’ll finally get the hint that we don’t like being compared to twilight!
It just makes me sick to realize that like 60-80% of the media completely misses the important message of the books. All they see is 'the next Hollywood blockbuster!!!1111!' or whatever. It does not only make me sick but terrifies me a bit if I am honest because that's basically what the Capitol is like. They don't see the fact that there are 24 people going into an arena with only one victor coming out (or at least it is supposed to be this way) the only thing they apparently care about is 'Team Peeta' or 'Team Gale' or 'Peeta and Katniss'.
lol sorry it's taken me like two hours to respond but YES I have seen SA when it was on tour and it was magical and perfect and beautiful. I actually have some bootlegs of a couple different casts if you're at all interested ^_^
