FMLS90 Catching Up
So while I was writing my most recent catch up post, I realized that my post for Day 27 was important enough for me that it needed to be its own post.
Day 27 - Share one, non-tumblr thing that motivates and inspires you. It could be a book, a person, a song. Share it with us.
So this might be a little weird...but these guys. I have been a fan of them since 1997 and it’s been one hell of a roller coaster ride. So for those who don’t know...every year they throw what I like to call Hanscon. They invite their entire fan base to their hometown to party for 3 days straight in May.
Every year...someone awful decides that at least one full body picture of me is required.
Year 1: 2012:
Year 2: 2013:
Year 3: 2014:
Year 4: 2015:
Year 5: 2016:
So I have to admit that after organizing all of these pictures, I am a horrible mess right now. This is the first time in my entire life that I have compared pictures of myself that were taken annually. I look back at 2012 and 2013 and remember feeling like I hated the way I looked in those pictures. Now, I would love to look like that. It’s really eye opening to see how much my body has changed in the last 5 years.
My hope for 2017 is that I will be down enough that I won’t hate the pictures . I want to feel confident when I see them again. Every year I say that I want to lose weight after I go through all the pictures. Now that I’ve seen all of them together, I want to be able to use 2016 as my before and 2017 as my after. I want to feel like I’m actually going to accomplish my goals...
If your mental health can handle it (I’m not sure mine can...this was an accident)...you should try posting a post similar to this. It’s really eye opening and makes me want to work extra hard so I don’t have to feel this way again.
