Mistakes and bombs.

“Seen...what?” Looking back to Ran she’d honestly thought she’d tucked everything away, but eyes flickering towards the spot she’d been sitting Jinx just bit at her bottom lip before turning back towards the kitchen. “Oh.” Voice quiet, and kind of shy she reached up grabbing a cup that at some point had become “hers” if only because Jinx one day had colored and decorated it and started using it all the time. Filling it with some water flavored with dried fruit she glanced to Ran, and shrugged. “I don’t...know if it’s a good idea.”
Using a hand to pull herself up Jinx hopped up onto the counter, and with her feet dangling unable to touch the floor took a sip from the cup that as it’d originally been for Sevika was a bit too big for her so she used both hands to hold it. “You made a mistake, and hurt yourself.” Staring at her drink the small girl pulled her shoulders up tucking her chin in against her chest somehow becoming even smaller than before. For a moment it’d seem like Jinx wasn’t going to say anything else, but than her eyes went to Ran.
“I made a mistake, and hurt other people.” Technically she had, as far as she was concerned, killed other people it’d been an accident and lost her family and her sister. At this point she was also pretty sure that Sevika’s injury had been because of her as well with her memories of that night starting to fully crystallize and sharpen and she considered when Sevika got hurt and the extent of it. That wasn’t the same as cutting yourself accidentally she didn’t think. Voice almost a whisper, but still audible Jinx spoke once more.
“Still think about them though. My bombs.”
Still thought about, planned out, and wanted to make them. She wasn’t sure she should. Not when looking at Sevika reminded her of how she’d hurt others she didn’t mean to, and remembering nights with Vi and Ran hugging each other made her sad that because of her it’d never happen again. All the same… her hands almost itched with the urge to craft new ones, and her mind refused to let the ideas go.
