i think i’ve seen examples of this where the base actually gets altered to better fit the character being drawn but yeah i agree
Early YCH auctions were a great idea. A scene was drawn, with the character posed within, but only as a loose reference. No line art was drawn, usually, and you could put any size, species, gender of character in. Could be a demon, mermaid, human, etc.
Now it's like, "I drew the body and the face, commission me to colour in-between the lines!" Like bitch if I wanted to see people colour inside the lines I'd print your lines and airborne-leaflet-drop them into a preschool during recess Have some creative integrity
