You said ask me anything so here goes! 1) WoT: Favourite charcter(s), scenes, book and why why why? 2) AHS: What do you think is coming next?
WARNING: BOTH AMERICAN HORROR STORY ASYLUM AND WHEEL OF TIME SPOILERS AHEAD.
Favourite scene (I tried to pick 5, that didn’t work. I tried to do 10, that didn’t work either, so I went with 12):
1) Mat having to display his ass to an entire Inn in Ebou Dar.2) Mat showing up with ANOTHER badger at Perrin’s camp.3) Elayne Getting laid while Min and Aviendha convince Birgitte to go get wasted with them.4) Mat having a small rant about Women to Talmanes. (I’ve learned most of this off by heart)5) The Min Farshaw Method of Seduction: LOOK AT ME LIKE I’M A BLOODY WOMAN, YOU SHEEP HERDER!6) Any scene with the Ebou Dar royalty. 7) Veins of gold!8) Rand’s realization of part of the Karethon cycle, on top of Dragonmount.9) Verin’s suicide.10) Elaida loosing her shit and beating the crap out of Egwene.11) Nynaeve battling Mohgedian (actually any scene where Nynaeve is being her bad ass self)12) Any scene where someone enters the glass columns.
Favourite books:Again, hard for me to pick. Whenever I’m asked this I say that I love books 1-4, 5 & 6 are good, 7 &8 are not as good as other books in the series (but the information/character development/world events at this point onwards is astounding, so definitely worth reading), 9 & 10 I enjoy as much as 5 & 6 and then everything after 10 I love as much as the first 4.
Favourite characters:
Again, a hard question for me because I seem to love far to many of these characters on some level. I've either seen them grow so much that I can't help it or I find something about them or their culture so interesting that I cannot help but like them. I mean, I even like Elaida on some level because she is so well written as a villain that I can't help it. Off the top of my head, the only people that I don't like is Sevanna (I actually loathe her) and Elayne (I'm neutral towards her).
Off the top of my head I love everyone Min described as being sparks against the darkness (while in Baerlon), Min, Siuan, Tuon, Suroth, The entire Band of The Red Hand (especially Talmanes, Olver and Jain) and Padan Fain.I have a particular love for the Women of this series.
American Horror Story:
The way I see this is that there is a large vacuum of power now that both Arden and Mary Eunice are dead, so I'm thinking that the Monsignor is going to be playing a much larger role in the both the story and in running the institution.Also, I've noticed that in both seasons, the writers have made a human/X-species hybrid baby (this season x = alien, last season ghost). So I'm wondering if this is a meaningless thing, or they're going to somewhere with these things.
