She still quite hadn't accepted the transfer, the facts in regards to it mostly. She had known that Mustang was being watched closely, but this was a blow she hadn't expected and knew he hadn't either. What worried her know mostly wasn't Bradley, it was Mustang.
She knew that at times, if he was alone, he would have a tendency to let his thoughts consume him, let the past come back into his mind. Of course, her thoughts were no better, but it still made her worry. She feared that he would do something rash and reckless, forgetting his goal, what was at sake. She wished she could speak with him, knowing from the other members of the team that she seemed to have a way with leveling him. They didn't have to tell her though. She's been dealing with him for quite some time.
She had managed to deliver him a message about Pride, but that was all she could convey. She knew he must have noticed the cuts, must have wondered where she had gotten them from. He wouldn't ask her though, couldn't ask. That was what she hadn't the most. There were so many things the two of them wanted to tell each other, but since Bradley had put Roy in checkmate, neither of them could do much of anything.
She watched him carefully as he walked in front of her desk. His presence was one she knew she would never be able to get used to. She kept her head down, pretending to focus on the paperwork that lay before her. She felt his eyes on her, knew he was studying her and it made her all the more nervous, although she would never show it.
When he handed her a folder, she could only dumbly stare at him. Apparently her expressed prompted him more and he continued to tell her that the folder was for no other than Colonel Roy Mustang. She was to deliver it to him.
