Whenever Mike visits other towns, and children want to play, they tend to use him as a make-do jungle-gym. the other squad members are concerned, but Mike tends to stand there quietly and content to be bringing joy to the small children
I can actually imagine Mike being fairly popular since he was humanity’s second strongest soldier and he’s a pretty handsome guy too lbr. When he’s standing still for a long time, the kids just flock to him and start climbing him or swinging from his arms. But Mike insists that it’s fine, because he thinks the kids are cute and it’s nice to see them having fun. He just a bit worried that one of them might hurt themselves if they fall but luckily his reflexes would kick in and he’d catch them before they hit the ground!
Also, this is kind of unrelated but I can see kids playing games with Mike too. Like, they’d run up to him and be like like “What do I have hiding behind my back?” and he’d sniff the air before giving a guess. And of course, he’s always correct and the kids would just think it was the coolest thing ever.
okay cuter hc time: mike attempted to cut his fringe once and made a complete disaster of it, so he usually lets it grow to a ridiculous length, and Nanaba tries to cut it before it completely covers his damn face smh
CUTE I LOVE THIS
Like Mike would just let his hair grow forever if nobody stopped him, since he mostly relies on his nose to do pretty much everything. But ofc Nanaba is concerned for his safety, and gives his hair a trim whenever he lets her. He likes the way she does it though so he doesn’t mind the trim every now and then, as long as it’s not too short of course!
When Mike was ripped apart by the Titans, his last thoughts were of how he failed his squad, and only prayed for Nanaba's safety, not knowing what happened minutes later. :')
