What was your post about scandal losing a gladiator/anon hate referring to? I just started watching and I binge watched so I'm almost done already so I thought Id check put the fandom and was confused?
A longtime and beloved Gladiator called mistressoftheblack passed away. Sadly, she took her own life. While I’m sure there were other factors in play that contributed to her state of mind, the infighting within the fandom, particularly from the O-how-bout-NO (aka Olake) and anti-Terry (the ship between KW-TG) factions, led to a pack of Anon Trolls sending her the sadly standard Tumblr messages of “you suck/you’re stupid/your blog is trash and so are you/why don’t you just kill yourself” because they disagreed with her views and…she did.
She did.
I desperately wish that she hadn’t. She was a joy within the Arena and on my Dash and I just wish that she…I wish that she was still here with us and with all of her loved ones at peace but she’s not anymore and it hurts.
Sweetheart, a new Gladiator to play with and shoot the shit with is always welcome in my eyes, no matter how they decide to gladiate (as long as they stay in their lane, of course) but please, if you’re joining us on here or on other social media sites, please think before you type. It’s more than okay to have a differing opinion. That’s what makes fandoms and life in general interesting. If we all thought the same, it would be mind-numbing. But…just please keep in mind that behind the screen is a human being who may be going through hell inside and that words truly do hurt.
