gross and unfounded otsutsuki biological headcanons

they have sex organs they just don't denote gender. all otsutsuki are functionally the same gender but there are like five common combinations of primary and secondary sex organs and even more rarer ones

any of them can give birth but the ones who don't have vaginas throw up the baby like king piccolo. they probably can shape shift honestly but their society is so based around living things and body parts going in and out of mouths that i assume this is how it happens

they don't have sperm and eggs. the baby carrier eats part of the baby contributor to make a combined genetic baby.

i wish they had tails

they don't eat regular food, but they can eat kinds of energy other than chakra. electricity is like an energy drink to them (big energy for a time at the cost of a crash). plasma is like. a hearty meal, they need to take a nap afterwards

kakuzu thought of the day about sasori knowing how to do stick and poke tattoos and offering to cover up/alter his prison ones. maybe he gives them branches and turns them into trees, or puts fish in them like they’re the outer borders of a pond or plants like they’re the boundaries of a garden. whatever it is kakuzu doesn’t want anything tacky. forever is a long time to have them, and he can trust sasori with that because he knows.
