How's halloween going ? Have u had any problems to prepare it? What's the best costume ? And the funniest ?

Halloween was awesome! The trick or treaters were cute. And the haunted houses were done really well. -Will

Our cabin’s House of Whore/House of Horrors haunted brothel took first place. -Mitchell 

I’m not happy about that. We had actual dead people. -Will

Yes, but the only thing scarier than death is syphilis. -Mitchell 

Whatever. And then there was Rocky Horror. -Will 

And having Jason as Rocky, Annabeth as Janet, and Percy as Brad was too many almost naked attractive people on the stage at once. It was unfair. -Mitchell

Who's the best and worst dancers at camp?

Drew and Lacy are objectively the best dancers in the camp. -Mitchell

From what I’ve seen, Percy and Leo are tied for worst. -Drew

To the PJO crew and any Aphrodite kid: Favorite Silena memory/story?

Alright, so, CHB is a pretty tollerant place because Chiron doesn’t take any crap from anyone. That doesn’t mean that the occasional backwoods racist doesn’t show up at camp and start terrorizing anyone he feels is a threat. Apparently a 5′4 teenager in a hijab is one of the people he thought was a threat. So he comes up behind Silena this one day and tries to rip off her hijab. She grabs it before it comes off, and swings around and punches this asshole in the face. He goes down and his lip is bleeding. And she then apologizes to him! She says she’s sorry and that she doesn’t really believe in solving problems with violence. And then casually reminded him that her best friend was a daughter of Ares and that she didn’t have control over her friend’s actions. Basically, Silena kicked ass and was awesome at everything. -Michell

Can you tell us about you? Your favorite things, least favorite things, what you look like, etc. and how close are you with The Apollo cabin!

I’m Mitchell, I’m 16. I like plaid, wearing hats, small animals, and boys. I hate Fox News, olives, and those sneakers that have heals. I have tan skin (I’m Iranian American) with brown eyes and hair. I have amazing cheek bones and although I don’t generally wear make up out, I do let my brothers and sisters use me as a model for practice whenever they want. I’m pretty close to a few of them, some of them I’ve kissed, some people are just friends. 

I’m Drew, I’m 18. I like dancing, singing, make up, Marina and the Diamonds, and Panic! At the Disco. I hate people who think I would make the perfect Miss Saigon just because I’m Asian, peas, and Glee. I’m Japanese American with olive skin, brown eyes, and black hair. I’m really close with Kayla, Will, and Austin, the rest are mostly acquaintances. 

I’m Lacy, I’m 14. I like dancing and singing too. I like make up but I’m not very good at it, and I also really like Frozen. I hate my braces. I’m African American with dark skin, brown eyes, and curly brown hair. I have a few friends from their cabin.
