Shancelot blazed early after a short dog fight for the lead with Matera Sky while Mitole sat calmly behind with Firenze Fire to his inside. As they rounded into the stretch, Firenze Fire and Mitole attacked - Matera Sky faded fast, but Shancelot kept on coming. Mitole kicked clear of Firenze Fire behind and chased down Shancelot in deep stretch.
Depending on how Bricks and Mortar & Midnight Bisou fair - could Mitole be horse of the year?
