On late November, famed actor, Paul Walker (40) died when his friend and driver Chris lost control in his Porsche Carrera GT and crashed into a light pole leaving no survivors. I happened to be at the LA Auto Show at the time and I spoke to both Nissan and my good friends at Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi is hoping to make a special edition to commemorate Paul Walker passing. The contenders are: Evolution, the discontinued FTO, 3000GT VR-4, or the Eclipse. The proceeds would go to his charity: Reach Out Worldwide. I spoke to one of the NissanUSA Nismo product specialists at the LA Auto Show who makes the GTR said "we have no plans to make a commemorative version of the GTR". Ok...how can you not make one?! Paul Walker loved the GTR (actually he loves all versions). I swear Nissan is a mean carmaker. Paul loved your car and you are not gonna make one? What kind of BS is that?  Mitsubishi is nicer, however it has to pass the CEO agreement. I hope they make one. They would have to make 40,000 instead of 40 to keep the tuning enthusiasts happy. I have so many ideas for Mitsubishi, but I'm not going spill my guts on tumblr—fearing that Nissan would steal them.
