what about a mitsuki!reader?
like, very introverted and socially anxious & awkward, who works at a cd store during the afternoon (because she wants money to get out of wayne manor when she is of age) and is naturally androgenous. she can be bruce's bio daughter, with some random woman the public never found out about — because it’s not like the public knows mitsuki!y/n exists. she has her mother’s last name & bruce never recognized her as a daughter publicy. to everyone else, she has no connections to him.
so, she gets a high school scholarship at japan, it’s a really good opportunity and if mitsuki!y/n wanted to live on her own after graduating she needed it. she ends up living on the students dorms that the school offers to those who aren't from the country.
mitsuki!y/n mother's was a woman who had a semi-famous rock carrer another name so her and her daughter's privacy didn't get stolen. she died because a fire happened on one of the places she was giving a show when mitsuki!y/n was nine years old. she was sent to bruce after that.
her mother was japanese, and mitsuki!y/n kept her last name, koga.
mitsuki!y/n's dream is to be a rockstar, to be famous in the music industry just like her mother dreamed of. music is her first and biggest passion, it was something she shared with her mom. no one at the manor understands, or even tries to.
anyway, off to japan for the high school scholarship she goes. she only goes back during summer break, and she spends almost all her days out in gotham working in music stores or inside her room listening to rock and playing the guitar. (her room isn't near the rest of family's. they won’t hear.)
while on the middle of her first year (which has been good. her notes have been really good & she’s been having more inspiration!) she meets aya oosawa.
things happen a bit like the manga, aya finds mitsuki!y/n working at a cd store during the afternoon (she managed to convice bruce it wasn't that. not that he really paid attention abd didn't just agree to make her go away.), thinks she’s a guy and gets a big crush. then they become friends, aya discoverers it’s mitsuki!y/n and not a mysterious guy and the relationship/friendship only gets stronger.
the two of them become really close during the second half of their first year of high school, and they both dread that they won’t see each other until the next school year because mitsuki!y/n has to go back to the us.
they share secrets, in the meantime between their first meeting and the summer break. secrets they never told another soul before. aya tells mitsuki!y/n about how sometimes she feels alone and different in her tastes, and isn't allowed to show them. mitsuki!y/n tells aya about how life is at wayne manor and the fact she is a wayne as a whole.
it's... weird. they've meet less than six months ago, but they feel like they get each other in a way that no one else does.
the night before summer break, where aya will stay in the city (because she lives there) and mitsuki!y/n will go back to the us (even though she would rather not), they share their first kiss.
things change, after that. in a good way.
they talk over phone a lot, and their relationship is a in-between friendship and dating because they want to talk about it in person.
(the batfamily doesn't notice, alfred gives her a look about how much she’s on her phone, but says nothing.)
they both buy a lot of gifts for the other. small things that remind them of each other to give when their second year starts.
the summer break feels longer than they would like, but finally, mitsuki!y/n is back for her second year of high school. with aya.
and they finally talk, the day after mitsuki!y/n comes back. they go at what could be their first date.
they come out of this date as girlfriends.
they get together at the start of their second year and stay together when it ends. mitsuki!y/n and aya talk about going to see the other during summer break, it’s easier on aya's part, comsidering her mother was charmed by mitsuki!y/n.
(and, when mitsuki!y/n is back, if alfred sees the pink and gold bracelet with AYA written on it under her sleeve, he doesn’t comment on it.)
summer break goes smoothly and they manage to see each other during a two weeks trip mitsuki!y/n did to japan after convincing alfred.
they are back for their third and final year.
and, the batfam's, who's been negligent towards mitsuki!y/n during the whole time she has been with them, finally notices. why?
because the song she did herself went viral.
it had been recorded by aya herself, and they decided to post it just to show the song. they didn't expected that, in the spam of one week, it would have hundreds of million of views.
it's tim who notices, because the song pops up to him and he ends up liking it, only to go see the artist's name and find his sister's name.
he goes running tell the others.
the batfamily is calling her less than a hour after.
