Finally it’s decided that Ishida Mitsunari’s sequel will be released at the end of August! Starting from today, we will be posting special material about the sequel on Twitter ♪ There will be character introductions, CG previews, and other things, so keep an eye out for it  ★

島左近（しまさこん） 真っすぐで熱い性格の、三成の家臣。 三成は「暑苦しい！」と冷たくあしらうが、左近はそれを照れ隠しだと思っている。

Shima Sakon

Mitsunari’s retainer, who is straightforward and warm. Mitsunari always snubs him, and complains that he’s radiating hot air, but Sakon thinks Mitsunari is just hiding his embarassment

Kojuro had his Shige-bunny, but they’re friends, even if begrudgingly. The tan00k and Mitsun aren’t friends thooooo 

Anyway, the rest of the stuff I super duper like!!

Time skip, Hideyoshi is ruler of the land.

Ieyasu has been kicked out relocated from Mikawa to Edo, and now he comes to visit/pay respects/etc.

Mitsunari’s sequel took on the “new research” of Sekigahara. There is none of that “The East army shot Kobayakawa with cannons so he got scared and defected” silliness.

I hope whoever’s doing Ieyasu, if they actually give us Sekigahara too, will NOT go back to that cannons again. The issue with the multiple writers thing... not everyone has the same interpretation of history. And also, not everyone does the same kind of research on the events. 

There’s been inconsistency not only in the historical facts the different writers choose to use as plot point, but also the tone/themes/emotions expressed in the plot (due to difference in interpretation of the same facts). I mean, it’s fine to tweak history facts, Just... keep everything straight within the same universe, you know? If route A is saying something different than route B, it just feels strange.

So the new research says that what happened on Sekigahara was that Kobayakawa broke camp first. Ootani, who found this to be suspicious, went after Kobayakawa. With two armies moving unexpectedly, the West camp fell into chaos, and it was a disaster even before they actually faced East...

Haven’t gone to double check what the new research says what happened when East and West actually meets.  

In the game we had Kobayakawa in panic, and Ootani going after him to try to talk sense into the kid. We’ll see what happens later.

I usually pick whichever ending requires the more attraction points first so in my second playthrough I don’t need walkthroughs
