A part of the anger may be due to BBC announcing 13 before SDCC where it will probably be dominated with questions to Pcap and the departing cast and crew about how they feel about 13 rather than focusing on the work they have done during 12's tenure. BBC could have just waited 1 more week...

i guess i just didn’t realize SDCC was that big a deal? like i know it’s Big but i didn’t know it was an important thing in that way. or i vaguely expect the, whatchamacalllit, the people in charge of directing a Q&A to guide questions away from speculation

i’d be curious to know how this rates vs previous departing Dr Whos at big comic cons

Not sure if you are aware but anyway that photo of Colin wearing that hideous patterned suit is a photoshop; China is having a meme on weibo with these floral patterns ever since a lady wore those at Cannes and someone decided to do one for Colin :)
