Als kind van vier continenten is bi-culturaliteit, voor mij niets nieuws. Ik hoop dat dit boek het voor de lezer net zo vanzelfsprekend maakt!

An other beautiful mother with her l children. The father of the children is form Nigeria. The family lives in Rotterdam. In Rotterdam they told me, they feel completely accepted being a biracial family, as Rotterdam is a multicultural city.

MixedMamas is more than just photography…. 

With the project MixedMamasI want to:

- Empower a colorful world,

- Empower interracial relationships,

- Empower biracial children in their mixed identity,

- Empower parents in raising their Biracial/Multiracial child in a race conscious world.

Your mixed identity is to be extra proud of!

The first 35 portraits will be Caucasian mommies, with their half Caucasian, half Black children.

The next one will be the other way around.

The photos will be published in a high quality book. With the photo’s there will be interviews with the mommies. What do you experience in raising your biracial child? Is it different than raising a single race child? What are the reactions of the community?
