Mix Nature!!! I was so excited to see this on my doorstep the other day! A friend recommend that I try Mix Nature, and I must say, I'M IN LOVE. Mix Nature is a company in Latvia that lets you "design" your own natural beauty care products. I've been trying to use more natural products and less products/chemicals in general, so I thought I'd give them a try. First of all, the PACKAGING! It's gorgeous. I love it. I want to order more just so I can get more of these adorable boxes. Haha. I chose to try shampoo and a facial scrub with a base that is for combination normal/oily skin. Then, I added green coffee extract, sweet orange essential oil, oats extract, pentavitin, eucalyptus leaf essential oil, and bio elastin. All of these ingredients are to help calm irritated skin and heal/refresh hyper pigmentation - which is my biggest issue. I tried this scrub last night and it was SOOO lovely! The smell makes me feel like I'm at a spa! The grain of the scrub is perfect, slightly larger than sand, and actually dissolves after scrubbing. I've never used a scrub that dissolves, so this was new to me. Either way, I loved it. My skin looked and felt great after using. The shampoo I chose has a base for color-treated hair. I added rosehip extract, green coffee extract, lavender essential oils, silk protein, floral nectar, and eucalyptus leaf essential oil. All of these add-ins have properties that promote hair growth, which is my main priority at the moment. The shampoo smells AMAZING, and again, made me feel like I was at a spa. The shampoo did not lather at all, which caught me off guard at first. Then I realize that a natural/gently cleanser would not lather anyway. I was still able to massage it on my scalp and smooth it through to the ends. I couldn't believe how silky and light the shampoo felt. I could definitely tell immediately that this was a great quality. My hair didn't get all ratty and strange when I washed it out. I could go on and on, but I'm trying to keep this brief. Moral of the story is give it a try!! Highly recommend :-)
