I was lucky enough to be able to see the largest collections of works by Issey Miyake  (三宅 一生 Miyake Issey) and his studio.

I have to say before going to the exhibition all I known was he is a Japan renowned fashion designer with a watch label under his name and created Steve Job’s signature black mock turtle neck.  

It was an eye opening exhibition how he pioneer and experiment with new garments making methods of I particular like these two collections HOMME PLISSÉ and 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE.

The exhibition itself was also well curated with some interaction piece like a miniature garments from 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE were people can interact with it folding flat and also unfolding it an dress the mini mannequin.
