I need it to be known that I'm back on my fucking dndads bullshit (not that its been seen on this account previously) bc I've been catching up on s2 in prep for their tour which I will be attending 2 days post wisdom tooth removal

Anyway all this to say I will be making so much art after I finish moving fucking prepare yourselves bc I'm ill and the fixation is returning

I'm relistening to the debate me coward episodes and I fucking forgot how STUPID Matt's argument about tortilla chips being less messy than popcorn is in a theater. Alone, they're about the same. But WITH A DIP??! A FUCKING DIP FOR YOUR CHIPS??! FUCK NO GET THAT SHIT OUT OF MY FUCKING THEATER

I WORKED AT A THEATER for YEARS and we sold tortilla chips and nacho cheese (and, obviously, popcorn). The containers for chips were so easily tipped over that if somebody got "nachos" as our menu called them, it was SUPER LIKELY that they'd spill it. AND THEN because the general public loses 90% of their IQ points as soon as they step foot into a theater, they'd fucking step all over it and break the chips into tiny fucking pieces that were impossible to sweep into the stupid dust bins we had for some dumbass reason. AND THE CHEESE. GOD THE CHEESE. This goes for any potential dip: THAT SHIT SUCKS! It's far easier to sweep up dry items from the ground like chips and popcorn than it is to clean up A PUDDLE OF CHEESE!

The only time we had to clean up a puddle because of the popcorn was when some guy, who was definitely on drugs, kept coming back and buying small popcorns that he demanded we SMOTHER in butter topping. Bro was cheering us on going "more! More! More!" As he watched us pour butter into the BAG of popcorn. Turns out he hadn't eaten shit, it'd all been spilled in his row and created a LAKE of butter.

Comparatively, given how often I used the popper/butter dispenser and the nacho cheese dispenser, I had WAY more issues with the cheese. That button was constantly getting stuck and when we'd rush around we wouldn't notice and then UH OH there's fucking nacho cheese EVERYWHERE! I had to spend extra time making sure it wasn't going to get stuck every fucking time to avoid accidental messes. I feel like this says smth because the popper sent me to the hospital where I got stitches in my finger.

Anyway, if you look at plain chips/popcorn, they're about equal imo. You could ONLY argue that popcorns messier because it's more common.

And also the brief mention of "have you ever seen a mess of m&m's?" Or what have you- FUCKING YEAH I HAVE PEOPLE WILL MAKE A MESS OF EVERYTHING! IF IT'S SOLD AT OR SNUCK INTO A THEATER I PROMISE YOU ITS BEEN ALL OVER THE FLOOR.

Anyway PSA clean up after yourself when you go to a movie because employees sometimes have 5 mins or less to clean an entire auditorium, often alone, before the next showing. Movie theater etiquette in general went out the window after the pandemic and it pisses me off still despite no longer working at a theater.

It is so strange posting in the dndads fandom.. nothing negative its just like a new place for me to be putting my art into and I'm weirdly anxious about it?? I've been listening since like s1e20-something and posted a couple art things before on other accounts/platforms, some of which did decently well.

It's weird. I was in high school when I started listening. And now I'm in my early 20s. Hey. Uh. When the fuck did that happen. Surely not over the course of several years as time passed naturally. Hmm..

Anyway, I feel weird posting in the fandom now of all times and I've always felt odd on Tumblr in general. The Loser Site and yet I am still not Hip and Cool enough for it in my mind.

I am jittering at work rn and while it may be in part due to the coffee I had I believe in my heart it's mainly due to the new episode. I am so utterly inspired in more ways than one I fucking love s3 fuck it scratches my brain in a way I forget that I love so much ugh ♡♡

Did you know that there's a way to save Aoi from within the fairy ring?

Yes! When I played through Paper Lily I ended up going back to get all of the achievements because I wanted to see everything and imo it was super worth it for stuff like that! Idk where development on chapter 2 is at or if it's going to be continued but I really hope there will be more Paper Lily at some point, I think it's such an interesting and well crafted game based on chapter 1 alone.

I want to be able to really use and learn Krita so badly so I can try animating with it eventually but ig I use too many layers for it bc it SLOWWWWWS down if I hit 10+ layers. I had drawn smth and towards the end I'd have to wait 2+ minutes for it to load a single stroke. That last Death Note manga panel that I did a redraw of? Krita could never handle those 41 layers.

I love Medibang for its ease of use but Krita has tools and things that Medibang doesn't that I'd like to have.
