Fusataro and Rage measure distance by music. For them, a trip isn’t “15 minutes away” but instead “about three and a half songs long.” Rage will casually say something like, “It’s not far, just two tracks,” and Fusataro will nod in agreement as if this is the most logical system in the world.
Paresse and Mizho, however, are completely baffled by this. Mizho deadpans, “What kind of songs are you even talking about? Three-minute pop songs or, like, a whole 20-minute symphony?” Paresse, dozing off in the backseat, asks, “Does this include the time you spend skipping through songs?”
When they form WTI and they’re on their way to the studio or concert venues, Mizho demands to know the actual travel time. Fusataro shrugs and says, “About four songs.” “Maybe five if there’s traffic.” Rage adds. Mizho is ready to kill them. while Paresse has already fallen asleep mid-argument.
