Fatima/Nadia Bio
Nadia was a member of an ancient clan of Outworld shapeshifters that could transform themselves into panthers. This clan was one of many groups in Outworld that were under Shao Kahn’s control, and Nadia, a well-respected member of this clan, was chosen to participate in the Mortal Kombat tournament against Earthrealm centuries ago. It was during this tournament when she met the Great Kung Lao and ended up forming a close relationship with him, as his bravery inspired her while she was forced to fight for her realm’s emperor. Nadia would then try to further prepare the Shaolin for the fight against Outworld’s champion, Goro, in secret.
However, she was discovered by Shang Tsung and killed for such action. This wouldn’t be the end of her, as her clan also possessed the magic to be able to reincarnate into a new being within the realm they die in and serve as their spirit guide until they fulfill an unfinished purpose.
In the present day, this soul would be a member of the White Lotus named Fatima and a great student of master Bo Rai Cho, known for her caring nature towards her peers. With Fatima, along with the rest of the Shaolin facing the threat of Shao Kahn’s empire. Fatima is motivated by protecting those around her that she loves dearly, while her spirit guide is motivated by bringing cold justice to Goro, Shang Tsung, and Shao Kahn. While they are on the same side and fight in unity, their differences in motives, values, and goals could cause conflict between them.
