i’ve seen an awful lot of pretty offensive posts by singlets about episode 5 since it came out, so i just want to put this out here:
alters are real people. steven is a real person. he’s not “made up”, he’s a type of alter called an introject—an alter based on a source outside the system. (i, the person writing this post, am also an introject.)
marc is also an alter. he, steven, and anyone else in the system are all alters; no one of them are any more of a the “real them” then the other. roles in a system are self-assigned, and your perception of marc as the host doesn’t make him any less of a person or a character than steven.
systems are in this fandom and can see your posts. keep your weird stuff to yourself. and like, just because you know what words like host or protector means, doesn’t mean you should be speaking over systems on all of this.

genuinely, not even in a contemptuous way, it is baffling to me how many singlets are posting their takes about steven’s death when it’s clear they know next to nothing about systems
literally it'd be so easy to enjoy moon knight like a normal person and stop making unsolicited comments about trauma and DID and yet

I am doing a deep dive on every single Moon Knight appearance in comic ever, to give fanfic writers good canon data on who is who and when what happened, and how the guys's plurality was treated.
However, I am not a system, and I'm not that immersed in the language the community prefer... so If you have the time, and see my posts? I'd love to know if I have to change stuff in the way I speak about that particular part of the comic mythos (I can't change HOW they were portrayed in the comics, but I can point out when the info was wrong!)
