Mod.H upper WIP
Gonna leave whatever lower I end up using with it unpainted I vibe with the idea of a chaotic two-tone look
PRI Recce Top Rail for the ongoing Mk.12 Mod.H build A birthday present from @bureau-of-mines
Now someone donate me a Bushnell 1-8.5x24 SMRS or a Leupold Mk.4 2.5-8x36 to toss up there
Cleaned more of the remaining paint off my Mod H's upper - Not spotless, but definitely a lot better than before.
Still trying to decide between repainting the entire upper, just the handguard, or leaving it unpainted. Leaning towards the former, but I still need to test out colors this time before I commit.
PRI Gasbuster Charging Handle should hopefully arrive soon this week.
Since I'm leaving the H&R A1 lower unpainted, I might give it a DoD Approval Stamp in the near future
Picked up an H2 buffer and a better spring than the mystery meat stuff I previously had on there as an interim At this point I'm calling the Mod.H lower done (assuming I don't need to fiddle with different buffer weights)
Only thing to possibly change out is the Magpul CTR for an ACE Gen.3 SOCOM Stock But I don't think I will anytime soon
Now I just need a PRI Gasbuster aka the $90 charging handle that I really don't want to buy but I kinda have to for this build and ofc I still need to repaint the upper, but need to wait for warmer weather
A sneak peek
went with @bureau-of-mines to pick up this H&R A1 Lower for the Mod.H build today
I gotta say, the original plan was just to repaint the entire gun, but the lower came out so nicely that I cannot in good faith paint over the lovely grey finish with black accents
I will probably repaint the upper or the toob at the very least, but for now, this lower's staying clean
At this point, all the build needs now is an Atlas BT10 V8 Bipod and a PRI M84 Charging Handle before I call it complete
