Sasha couldn’t imagine spending a better night with Kitty than looking at the stars. It had not been her idea originally but now that she was here under them all Sasha felt as if there were no where else she would rather be. Of course making new friends was a lovely plus but getting to bond with them over the stars?
The blonde had been sitting on a park bench, watching as the people strolled by. The school was calm and Sasha felt it was something to remember. Birds chirped in the sky as if they had no reason to fear what danger might fall into their laps at any moment. The wind rustled through the trees in a hushed whisper that was so faint Sasha half believed she was making the sound up in her head. In the distance she could hear the small bits of chatter shared amongst the students and it was so very calming that she found herself sighing, tension rolling off of her shoulders, and a small smile settling on her lips.
When someone sat beside her, Sasha hardly noticed. Lost in her own world it wasn’t until the girl spoke up that she glanced over at the stranger. The girl was gorgeous, movie star gorgeous, and like always when she met someone attractive, Sasha felt her brain turning to mush and her words joining together in an incoherent mumbling of sorts. After some time and some words exchanged, though, the blonde felt more comfortable in her new setting. Meeting Kitty for the first time she really was surprised when the other girl offered to take her stargazing. At first she wondered if this were a trick or a dare like the ones she’d seen other people get but, no, no it seemed to be real. At least the other made no move to disprove that this was real.
And that’s how she ended up with the girl who was all too pretty and popular to be her friend laying in the grass besides her as they looked up at the darkened sky. Salt on black construction paper, snow flakes on a gravel road, that’s what the stars looked like. They ran into each other as if there were no room in the infinite sky and each needed their own bit of space. Shifting here and there Sasha never felt more at peace.
“Thank you for this, kitty. I appreciate it. Really, I needed this.”
Today, I summon the PAWer of these kitties 😸🐾 #thedayhascome #mkitty #felinepawisitive
