Alice looked up from being half slumped over on the table. Minnie had suggested that they go out sometime, wanting to catch up since she had been busy with promotions and Minnie had been busy with her training. Trying to be the best and do their best was hard, and the two hadn’t gotten any time to see each other. They decided going out late after practice was the best idea, less crowds, less fans, less people taking pictures and spreading their business over the internet. She sighed and looked around at the restaurant; it wasn’t crowded at all, it being late at night and all. Alice’s hair was underneath a cap and she was wearing bulky clothing. Going out with no makeup also helped the facade, as Alice was nearly unrecognizable without all the foundation and eyeliner caked on her face, but she was almost sure at least someone would have taken a picture of her. She looked back at Minnie and gave her a soft smile, “You’ll understand when you debut,” she said, before taking a piece of kimbap off her plate and chewing it slowly. “It’s not the performances, or the practice, I’m just tired of having to hide myself and stay up late to go out with my friends and not get pictures taken of me.” Setting down her chopsticks, she leaned back in her seat and looked down and her hands,“It’s like at least some of my life could be private, you know? People should have the decency to ask for an autograph, take a picture with me, and leave. Not take twenty pictures of unflattering angles and criticize me the best we can.”
