Minchan was done. Utterly and undoably done. Did people think he wasn’t aware what kind of behaviour did they expect from him? He wasn’t stupid, he knew, but he chose to remain as nice as he could, depending on the circumstances he had to face. He tried his best to keep himself to whatever he learnt at those stupid etiquette lessons as a kid. But even his patience had it’s limits. He chose to be not an actual asshole, but it didn’t mean he couldn’t start using his power. Or more like his dad’s power - the amount of dirty secrets hotel owners knew about people would surprise you - but there was nothing his father ever denied from him. People really underappreciated Minchan’s niceness and he had enough of it. He was ready to become the asshole part of the clique he was sorted into too, since he heard people were already questioning him being rich as well, and that wasn’t something he was ready to ignore.
It was late when Minchan finished at the foreign film appreciation club, and he was mad. During the whole time he couldn’t even enjoy the movie they were watching, even though it was his choice, because his mind kept wandering back to how much he hated people taking his niceness for granted or paying too much attention to him in general. How he dressed, how he behaved, who he talked to. Everything. He was walking around campus aimlessly, trying his best to calm down, but that made it even worse, because ‘why the fuck was it always me that had to calm down?!’. His thought process was soon interrupted by a noise, and he turned in the direction of it, ready to scream at whoever it was to keep it quiet when he saw it was someone he knew. They weren’t friends, but he knew he was called Mingyu, and that he was very well considered as an asshole. Pretty much exactly what he needed. He approached him, a smile - a somewhat fake one, but he tried - on his lips. “Hey, hyung!” He greeted him.
