Which given what Bruce can do, yeah that can be pretty plausible for him as Marinette’s father.

(Edited quite a bit for clarity/so it doesn't break the rules, and some more details added. IDK if Clark can speak French, since I don’t know anything about the DC universe, but for the sake of this I’m just gonna pretend he can.)

Young Superman crossover.

A teenage Clark Kent is in NYC on a class trip, and he's running around with his camera, as he's an aspiring reporter, and comes across Ladybug doing her thing.

He really admires the French-Chinese superhero who's been trying to help protect people despite the language barrier preventing her from speaking with most civilians and many of the other heroes, who's younger than any of the American superheroes Clark has ever seen or really heard of fighting seriously, someone actually around his age.

As this is a young Clark who's not yet a superhero, he sees Ladybug as aspirational, and so when she needs help in a fight and Chat Noir is yet again goofing off, he charges in despite not having any kind of disguise, because it's the right thing to do and she needs a partner. Nobody can do it all alone.

Marinette has already met Clark Kent, several times in passing, since he was one of the translators who were helping the senior reporters ask her and Chat Noir questions at the ends of fights. His French is far from perfect, since he’s still learning, but it’s better than nothing.

When she finds out he has superpowers and is willing to risk his secret being exposed to help her, she gets a bit of a crush on him.

He's a nice country boy with good manners who calls her ma'am, just wants to help, and is in a lot of ways just as under pressure as she is during the fight, since unlike Chat Noir, he actually cares about protecting people.

Better yet, he respects her boundaries and doesn't flirt with her on the job. Which isn't a high bar, but she's never gotten through a single fight with Chat Noir without him hitting on her at least twice, despite all her protests.

Clark is tall, handsome, humble, down-to-Earth, compassionate, brave, and a person of integrity. She crushes hard and fast and is very thankful he's oblivious to it.

And it's a different kind of crush to the one she has on Adrien, one where she's not anxious or uncomfortable, but instead can still be herself, which she's never quite able to do around Adrien. It's better.

Granted, when she finds out later that his X-ray vision lets him look through her mask and see who she is isn't something she's thrilled with, but she can tell from his subsequent panicked apology that it was an accident and his powers aren't always under his control.

And that drives Chat Noir up the wall, when he deigns to show himself, because "Why is it okay if he knows?!"

"It’s not, but he didn't want to, didn’t do it on purpose, won’t tell anyone, and Hawkmoth doesn't know he exists!" is the reply, reasonably.

(It doesn’t even occur to Marinette until much much later that if Clark can see through her mask as Ladybug, that also meant he could see through her clothes as Marinette. That was not a realization she needed to have at four in the morning while she was half asleep. She spends a few days panicked and horrified by the realization, but eventually managed to calm down by reminding herself that Clark isn’t like Chat Noir－he’s never done anything to make her uncomfortable, never hit on her, never tried to grab her or touch her or kiss her in a romantic way. And...besides. If he can see through her clothes, that means he can see through everyone’s clothes, so he’s probably completely desensitized to seeing naked people, right?  

Chat Noir does not like Clark and Clark tries to put on a polite face and not get into any kind of dispute with him, to cause Marinette the least amount of stress as possible.

Marinette forgiving Clark for his powers misfiring means a lot to him, as someone who worries about being rejected if his powers were known, and the crush starts to become mutual.

Post NYC special, after Clark has accessed the space pod that brought him to Earth and acquired his superhero outfit from it, he starts being a superhero in the United States, and continues to be Marinette's friend. They text, they video call each other, play online games together, he gives her praise, encouragement and respect and asks her for superhero tips, though she quickly reminds him that tips for fighting Hawkmoth won’t really apply to fighting anyone else, since she has the ability to magically erase any collateral damage, and he doesn’t. She’s also lucky enough to be supported by her city of residence, and most civilians trust her and her judgment, and don’t try to get in her way. 

They talk about baking (Ma Kent's cupcakes are divine, and they’re constantly swapping recipes, with Marinette’s parents becoming fast friends with Clark’s) and school (both are struggling to balance homework and heroism). And when things really hit the fan and she needs it, he can zip over across the ocean to provide backup.

Sometimes, she doesn't even need Chat Noir if Superman has her back. ("That's because the real power here is all yours," Clark assures her. "You're the team leader and the one with the most experience. You could probably do it all without me, too - but I'm glad you're letting me help out sometimes anyway.")

The Season Four finale hits and, not wanting him to see her having a panic attack or breakdown, she doesn't call him until things have gone so wrong Hawkmoth has the Miraculouses (Miraculi? whatever the plural is). But after Chat Noir has been such a non-help, a burden and a serial harasser, she knows who she wants to rely on in this dark moment. His name is Clark and he's from Kansas. He once brought her muffins when she was sad and has never touched her without her consent, and even when they were total strangers to each other, he was willing to help her before. He is now, too.

I'm not saying Clark and Marinette wouldn't have any flaws or issues to overcome but Marinette deserves to date a hero, and if canon won't let her, we'll write it ourselves instead.

Listen, listen. I may not be into Miraculous Ladybug much anymore but I know there are still some Maribat fans going strong so this is a message for you guys. I don't know if anyone else has said this yet, but because I remember seeing this a lot I'm gonna say something.

DO NOT MAKE MARINETTE MAKE FUN OF THE ROBIN OUTFIT/COLORS

At least not without repercussions. Now you may be asking, why?

Dick Grayson chose the Robin name, outfit, and colors very specifically. Robin was what his mom would call him. The colors are the same colors as the Flying Graysons in their act.

He chose things deliberately as tribute to his parents, so please do not make Marinette make fun of it lightly without people at least acknowledging why Dick chose for the outfit to be the way it is.

In “A Little Birdy Told Me”, Alya will be considered as irredeemable based on an earlier question. Does this mean that she’ll still deny that Lila is lying because it would mean that her own credibility is questionable and that she abandoned and bullied her best friend for nothing? Or that it means that Alya will “apologize” and expect Marinette to accept the apology, only to relentlessly pester her once she realizes that Marinette won’t do so

The second one. As much as I love to read the first where Alya just relentlessly believes in Lila's lies, I am trying to make my fic believable. And not to say that that reaction isn't believable as people have done that, but it's not something I can fully see Alya doing as her character presents. Like her season 1-2 character, which is what I'm trying to write as I believe those were the seasons that best represented the characters in a way. Now they all share one brain cell as we like to joke about which is sad because in the beginning they were all wonderful and it feels like they are falling into the side character role more.

Anyways, Season 1-2 Alya wise, I can see her believing Lila up to the point that the proof of Lila's lies is thrown in her face like in Lady WiFi when she was fully convinced Chloe was Ladybug right up until Ladybug showed up to fight her, even then it took physically fighting her for her to believe it. It was hard for her to admit she was wrong but she admitted it. But she didn't realize the wrong she had done in the episode, yeah it wasn't worth the suspension but the fact is she did in a way invade Chloe's privacy. So I see her not realizing the wrong she has done to Marinette in A Little Birdy Told Me or she convinces herself she had done nothing wrong.

But she does apologize for believing in Lila's lies and when Marinette doesn't immediately accept the apology and things don't go back to how they were before Lila she doesn't understand why and makes everything worse for her as she tries to make Marinette see that she's in the wrong for not forgiving her.

I read your supernette au and now i'm wondering if Fu connected the dots on the first girl he chose to be Ladybug being the superhero that showed up on the second coming of Stoneheart

Alright, let’s get back into it.

·         For the sake of canon, we’ll have Marinette call herself Calliope, in her superhero form, from the beginning.

   It’s very fitting as she is not the primary hero here, thanks anon

·         Her second meeting with Fu will take place in Princess Fragrance.

·         As Rose can’t afford to be akumatized here, I’ll have her simply distracted from the fact that Prince Ali is in town, due to the fact that she’s a hero and is trying to focus on hawkmoth a bit more.

·         Also thanks to Tikki, she’s got a bit more of a realistic look on life, as she and Jules are closer than ever, on the verge of thinking that maybe they might actually have been dating all this time.

·         So basically, she doesn’t write that letter to Prince Ali and perfume it, but it’s a big school, maybe someone else would also be a fan-girl of Ali and try to do something similar, get caught, and akumatized, so yeah,

·         Rose loses Tikki as she leaves school, likely just falls out of her purse as she’s excited to hang out with Juleka.

·         Chloe finds Tikki at the front of the school and Marinette recognizes her and tries to get it back from Chloe in the same way, things go relatively normally with how that goes on.

·         But Marinette successfully follows Chloe’s limo to the hotel and manages to cause a distraction and snatch the kwami right out of Chloe’s hand, just before she enters the building.

·         Marinette notices that Tikki is sick and takes her back to Fu using her super speed

·         Fu was just chilling in his massage parlor, wondering out loud, “I wonder how Calliope was able to respond to the akuma attacks so quickly….”

·         when a sudden burst of wind came in and Mari was just standing in front of him, Tikki in hand

·         He’s just like “… ah”

·         So Fu heals Tikki, not pretending not to know what she is for the sake of secrets

·         They exchange questions for a little while: “What is the source of your power?” “Earth is! The environment has more oxygen and less ionizing radiation than my planet. Why can’t I see through their masks?” “Magic protects their identities. Earth’s environment? Are you… an alien? From space?” “Yup, I’m from the same planet as America’s Superman. He’s unofficially my uncle, even though we’re not really related. What are the miraculous? Where did the magic come from?” “The Kwami are embodiments of concepts and ideas in their purest forms; from the beginning of those concepts, they were created. The miraculous were only created so they can interact with our world and manifest their powers here. Did you know you were allergic to magic? Is that why you refused the miraculous?” “I knew I was probably weak to it, but I didn’t know how bad it could get, but I mostly did it because I didn’t want to be too powerful… all things considered… Also I can’t have my ears pierced… Why select children, of all people, to be heroes? Aren’t there adults, who could do the job better?” “Children are less likely to use the miraculous powers selfishly, they are less likely to be corrupted, and there is also a matter of limiting their power.”

·         Fu heals Tikki and she tells Marinette to take her back to the school and leave her there

·         Marinette does and rushes off to her room to change and join the fight

·         Robin was put under the spell because his respirator didn’t filter out the magic smoke, but chat wasn’t because Robin went in first and he had to nope out or get cut by a singing Robin.

·         Pixiebug comes in shortly afterwards

·         The fight is won when Calliope blows Princess Fragrance’s perfume back at her and uses her laser eyes to break open the canister, releasing the buttefly

·         Pixie hugs Callie very tightly, or as tightly as she can and thanks her for taking care of Tikki

·         Marinette doesn’t let Damian live down his singing hypnotism that easily, but she does complement his singing voice (and asks him to sing to her on multiple occasions)

And while we’re on the topic of mentor figures and meeting, let’s have Aquaman and Wonderwoman sneak to Paris to meet the miraculous team.

·         They catch them during one of their nightly patrols

·         Arthur starts by pretending to be there to claim revenge on Plagg for what he did to Atlantis

·         Can’t keep a straight face at the little black cat before him and immediately goes into big-brother mode, patting him on the back and stuff

·         Diana can’t help but gush at the child, wearing her mother’s old miraculous, Pixiebug gushes at the daughter of one of her predecessors

·         Marinette arrives late with Robin, each of them carrying a rather large bag of pastries, from a familiar patisserie, in hand, heroes need the extra calories (or that’s her excuse for trying to put some meat on chat’s bones)

·         The two elder heroes immediately pounce on Calliope, each taking a hand to shake, leaving robin to distribute the pastries to the other two

·         They comment on how cute and tiny she looks, aquaman goes as far as pinching her cheek

·         A mistake

·         She squeezes their hands, hard

·         Diana is impressed at her strength and complements her, “You really are a Kryptonian!”

·         Arthur is on his knees, holding her wrist with his free hand and begging for forgiveness

·         Everyone, but Robin he only smirks, laughs as greetings are done and they start to make small-talk

·         Then Robin asks, “I thought Batman and Superman banned the Justice league from interfering. Considering the terrorist that can control minds, and all.”

·         Everyone looks at him before Arthur pipes up, “An Atlantean steel sword, custom made for you says that they won’t hear about it from you.”

·         Robin doesn’t hesitate, “Done.”

·         Arthur laughs, “So Red Hood was wrong, you are very reasonable.”

·         Calliope then clears her throat,

·         Diana: “Amazonian silks and Atlantean scale mail, if they don’t hear about it from you, either.”

·         Calliope: “Done”

·         Pixie and Chat, awkwardly scoot themselves into view

·         Aquaman and Wonderwoman exchange glances before looking back at them: “autographs?”

·         CN: “Yes, please” PB: “Can I get a picture of me dangling off your arms?”

·         They spend the evening exchanging battle stories and eating pastries before Wonderwoman and Aquaman return to the watchtower

·         Clark and Bruce don’t hear about it for another two weeks

·         Clark video calls Marinette later to confirm their suspicions

·         Damian was already there, sharpening a new sword on her chase with a whetstone

·         Marinette was putting a dress together with some expensive looking silk

·         CK: “Did Wonderwoman and Aquaman show up at any point in the past two weeks?”

·         Damian: “I think we would know if two members of the Justice League were in Paris, right Angel?” Doesn’t look away from his Atlantean steel sword.

·         Marinette: “Yeah, what are you talking about uncle Clark?” Gently brushes her hand over the Amazonian silk dress.

·         Bruce in the background of Clark’s video: “Riiiiiiiight-wait ‘angel’?”

Best friends until the end- Maribat fluff week 4

Not doing the whole week cause I'm bad with commitment 😅 but I love some good fluff and wanted to do a small wedding scene.

Barbara looked out over the crowd of guests before turning her face upwards to smile at her kinda-brother. "Damian has prepared his own vows for today."

When they had first discussed the idea of writing and reciting their own vows, Damien wasn't sure if he'd be able to get through his after hearing Marinette's so they had decided that he would go first to try and make it through the wedding. Seeing her standing at the alter in front of him in her white MDC custom gown, he knew he had made the right decision. She had taken his nickname for her to heart and absolutely looked like the Angel he truly thought she was. Honestly, he wasn't sure he'd be able to get through his own vows now without pulling her into his arms and kissing her senseless. He found himself leaning slightly towards her.

"Damian..."

He blinked at the sound of his name and saw his lovely bride's lips lift into a small smile as she giggled. He felt the heat rise up his neck as he looked out at their guests and realized they were all waiting for him to stop spacing out.

He cleared his throat and took a deep breath, returning his gaze to hers, forgetting about the crumped piece of paper in his pocket. He didn't need it- everything he had to say to her came from his soul. "Marinette, before I met you my life was dark and my heart was cold. For many years I felt alone and that was how I liked it. I didn't think I needed- and I certainly did not want- friends. Then you appeared in Gotham, a being of pure sunshine, and managed to win over every single person you met. You even became Twitter famous because of your ability to make everyone feel happy and cared for."

Their friends and family chuckled as Dick yelled out "Hastag sunshine of Gotham!"

"I tried to avoid getting sucked into your rapidly growing fan club, but it was hopeless. All too fast I found myself wondering when I had begun to think of you as a friend and then suddenly you became my best friend. Even with my icy heart, it was so easy for you to burn through my defenses and make me fall in love with you. Every day I find out something new about you and I cherish every moment we have had together. I know I don't make it easy to love me..."

"You got that right!" Jason yelled from the front row where the wedding party sat. "Ouch," he muttered as Selina flicked his ear, silently promising to do much worse if he ruined the wedding with his chatter.

Damian paused to send his brother a death glare before letting out a breath. He reached up to tuck a stray strand of hair back behind Marinette's ear. "I don't make it easy, but I want to thank you for being stubborn and refusing to let me go. You are the brightest, best thing about my life- my Angel- and I promise that I will spend the rest of our lives together trying to return even a fraction of the hope and love you have brought into my world back to you. I cannot imagine a life without you in it. I love you Marinette."

Barbara smiled and turned to look at her kinda-very-soon-to-be-sister-in-law who was holding back tears of happiness. Marinette was known for her bright smile, but the one currently sitting upon her lips was almost blinding. "Marinette has also prepared her own vows to speak today."

"Coming to Gotham was a very happy accident. When I needed an escape from my life in Paris I had simply closed my eyes and picked a booked a random flight, letting the universe decide tell me where I should be. Even though life in this city is fairly opposite from life in Paris, I found myself drawn in and quickly felt at home. Thinking about our first time meeting, I can definitely say that I never would have thought we'd be here today, but we just kept finding ourselves pushed together by different forces and I could see that you were so much more than the tough guy front you put up when you were around others. The Damian I slowly uncovered was sweet, loyal, romantic, gentle, thoughtful, and compassionate- nothing like what your brothers tried to warn me you were like."

Their guests, especially his brothers, laughed at her last comment. The three of them still didn't quite understand how someone so pure like Marinette could end up with a little terror like Damian.

"I wasn't looking for anything more than friendship, but I quickly found myself falling in love with you Dami. I'd be lying if I said that there was a single moment that I could remember leading me to believe that we were meant to be, but I know that it's true. You are my other half of my soul that I've been missing, my best friend until the end of time. Every day with you is a new adventure and I can't wait to see where life will take us next. I love you Damian."

"The bride and groom will now exchange rings." Barbara gestured for the pair and Chloe quickly deposited them in her open hand before returning to her place as the Maid of Honor. Marinette's band was a rose gold band with small pave diamonds around the outside like a halo and a small robin engraved on the interior of the ring while Damian's band was black tungsten with a ladybug engraved on the inside. "Both of you repeat after me as you present the other with these rings as physical tokens of your love for one another. Let this ring..."

"Let this ring..." The pair recited in unison, holding their left hands out while their right ones slowly brought the bands closer.

"Be a symbol of our commitment to one another ..."

"Be a symbol of our commitment to one another..."

"So that the world may know..."

"So that the world may know..."

"That your heart is my own."

"That your heart is my own."

"From this day forward..."

"From this day forward..."

"You will never walk alone..."

"Now..." Barbara was cut off from speaking as Damian surged forward, still hand in hand with his bride, and kissed Marinette with far more passion than was proper in a public setting. The pair only pulled themselves apart once she cleared her throat and they realized they had a captivated audience looking on.

"Eep!" Marinette squeeked out, her face turning pink.

"Could I at least finish the ceremony so you two can excuse yourselves?"

Damian straightened his tie and gave her a curt nod, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"By the power vested in me by the city of Gotham, and the country of France, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Damian, you may now kiss your bride."

"Finally," he mumbled as he took a step closer and gently cupped her cheek with his hand. He brought his lips to hers and placed a chaste kiss upon her rosy lips. Before he pulled away, he gave her a look that promised more as soon as he could get her alone.

"Allow me to present to you all Mr. and Mrs. Damian and Marinette D.C. Wayne!"

Ok, so since the ladybug cure fixes the damage the Akuma causes, no one believes Paris when they claim there under attack and they need help. Every time someone tries to ask for help their shut down since magical butterflies turning people into monsters are you sure you weren’t just high/drunk.

People think the Lady Blog is just a teenager writing a story similar to ARGs.

Jagged stone an America rockstar starts to also talk about being akumitasted and meeting Ladybug and Chat Noir, people are sceptical at first but when he releases a song about Ladybug and for the music video, he uses the actual news reports and footage from the Lady Blog. People start doing more research and discover that basically every news station covers Akuma news and students in Paris talk about how there are strict rules for students when an attack happens in school time as well as people in Paris having therapy to get over the guilt they have because of the damage they caused as an Akuma.

And because more people are talking about what happing in Paris, the other superheroes (the justice league) start to take notice and do their own investigations. When there’s a meeting to discuss what they should, Wonder Women confirms that the miraculous are actually real since her mother used to be a Ladybug. They decide to send in the big three (wonder women, superman, batman) along with some of the bat family to help figure out what exactly happing. 

Since Clark is a reporter, he gets an interview with the mayor to find out what has been happing. Diana and Bruce also come along to talk to the major, to see if they can set up something to help prevent Akuma (since they both have big companies with a lot of money).

The bat kids could go to Marinette school to check it out since that’s were a lot of Akumas coming from it. They meet Marinette’s class along with Lila who they instantly hate. They ask questions and become friends with Marinette.

They learn that Ladybug and Chat noir do petrol every night so all the heroes go to talk with them that night bit both Chat Noir (chat noir is nice in this and knows when ladybug is uncomfortable with his flirting and when to be serious) and Ladybug are suspicious since why would they take interest in what has been happing in Paris now when people begged for help for two years, that or they could be another Akuma that uses illusions.

The heroes agree to help find out who Hawkmoth is as well as help the city when they can. Maybe they offer to train Ladybug and Chat Noir in new fighting styles since they have a lot more experience and training. So, the justice league become allies with the heroes of Paris and maybe mentors them. 

Maybe after Hawkmoth defeat Ladybug and Chat Noir become members of the justice league when they are adults and continue to be heroes.

The song jagged makes is Here Comes Ladybug (yes, I know he’s rockstar but it was the song that gave me this idea so roll with it)
