Bruce, somewhere along the path of his life, learned a language no one else seems to know. He himself has no idea how he knows this.
It isn't the League dialect, although most of the League does speak it.
He can't find any equivalent on Earth.
The magic users, when they hear him speak it, don't seem to realize he isn't speaking English and respond in kind.
Certain non-magic user heroes speak it as well, but...only those who have died in some way. The more they've died, the more fluent they sound when they speak in it.
The less they've died, the more choppy and stilted it sounds.
Jason, for instance, speaks this strange language like...like someone who only learned French in High School, and never pursued it outside of class.
Damian, however, is almost as fluent as Bruce.
It varies, but there's one thing Bruce knows for sure; this language is a boon.
If no one knows what he's saying to Robin, then they can do patrols safer.
Meanwhile, the GIW has just received a report that Batman and Robin are actually ghosts; they've also been receiving footage of the duo speaking in GhostSpeak to prove it.
It's 8am where I'm at and I haven't slept in 36 hours my brain isn't working I'm so sorry😭
