Because no one you asked:
Ball Parks I Have Known, ranked in reverse order:
8) O.co -- sorry A's fans, but it's pretty awful
7) US Cellular -- pretty meh, generic 80s stadium.
6) Candlestick Park -- the warm glow of nostalgia is the only warmth I associate with the the 'Stick
5) Dodger Stadium -- I know, I know...but it's a fun place to watch a ball game. Especially if the Giants win, which they have every time I've been there. (Maybe 7 or 8 times?) I have to give it the nod over the 'Stick because it's actually interesting architecturally.
4) Wrigley Field -- it's totally charming and might be higher on the list, but once you get out of the actual seating and into the concourse, it's kind of a dive.
3) Coors Field -- gorgeous scenery, within walking distance of an incredible hotel, and it's just a really nice place.
2) Petco Park -- I think Coors is prettier, but Petco wins because there are always plenty of Giants fans in the stands and it's just a great place to watch baseball. Also, location location location--it's right in the middle of the Gas Lamp District which is a lot more fun than Denver's LoDo.
1) Huh...can't remember...oh wait, only the most gorgeous park in the majors. AT&T, baby!
MilB Parks. Only two and I like Raley Field a lot more than LoanMart Field, home of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Dodgers high A).
And, obviously, Scottsdale Stadium is superior to Camelback Ranch (Spring Training home of the Dogers and the White Sox.)
