penelope   writes   poetry.      she    has   a   few   notebooks    which    she    uses    for   writing.        this    started    when    she    was   much   younger,      since    her   parents    were    never    giving    her    the   time   of   day     and    now,      penelope     has    trouble    expressing   her   emotions   to   others,      so    she    writes   it   instead.       she    feels    very    deeply    and   this    help    her    keep    calm.

CINDERELLA  ‘ELLA’    / /    ian & mickey’s ( @mlkvchs ) rescue dog. 

ian rescued her from the streets of chicago after finishing work one day. he had seen her left alone in the cold, sleeping on a mattress in an alley. ian had brought her home without alerting mickey. ian and mickey call her ella because they’re not a huge fan of her entire name - a name that they let franny pick out. ella is approx. 3 years old and is a pitbull.  she acts as a protector of ian & mickey’s home and a comfort / support dog.

 i   seriously   don’t   know    where   people   get   this   idea   that   mike   is   some   kind   of   saint   when   it   comes   to   holly   ?    because   he   asked   her   if   she   liked   some   grapes   ?    with   being  a   brother   [  especially   a   big   brother  ]   comes   certain   territory   and   that   includes   terrorizing   your   siblings.      that’s   just   how   it   goes.     nancy   isn’t   the   only   one   that   has   to   deal   with   mike’s   shit.   he’s   always   messing   with   holly   here   and   there,     too,     and   pulling   his   little   pranks   and   teasing   her.      it’s   a   normal   thing   to   do,    you   know   ?    that’s   life.

although show canon briefly says that ian dropped out of school, lip even had made a comment about how there was still time for ian to go back or to even just get his GED.  ian studied and took the GED test before becoming an EMT.  it was something he dedicated a large amount of time too after caleb had encouraged him to pursue that career path.  ian is smart. he’s not as book smart as lip or liam appears to be but he is smart and passed both his GED & EMT exams with above grade average scores.   so while he never officially graduated in the traditional sense, he did get his GED and it’s something that he’s proud of.
