Bullshit Temproto Yaoi au where when they find out about Proto's core condition but also side effect if he falls in love his core/heart won't be able to take it and he might die (in reference to this one movie I only heard of once) so Thomas vents to Noele about it, and Noele, who was originally working on a robot to triple as a geologist, daughter, but also best friend to Proto (which is also canon to my interpretation and, who knows, possibly could be to Canon as well!), is like "Shit. Well, I can just make him a boy so he won't fall in love with him!" and then bullshit Temproto Yaoi au happens
