Ok I only really did this so I could have a reference later. But here are all the the Official royalty from each generation of My Little Pony that I could find. To qualify they had to have been called a queen, princess, king or prince on a toy, in the cartoons, comics or games. Second is they are directly related or are married to someone meeting condition one. I may have missed some or some maybe on here as a technicality.

Gen 1

Gen 3 (because names are not on images) Wisteria and Star Catcher (Edit: I am not doing all the residents of G3 ponyville from princess promenade, cause I don’t want torture myself, and it was basically a one day thing. Wisteria however was princess for more than just a day.)

Gen 4 will be a fallow up post cause it has a lot, and tumblr has limits.

Gen 5 queen Haven, princess Zipp storm and Pipp petals.

One silly question I kept asking was “How did Queen Haven become queen??” So my headcanon is that she’s a drag queen and everyone just took her stage name too literally when she showed up.

I go more in-detail about them in my headcanon book on wattpad but basically in my version: gold lily and sterling aren't royalty; they're the mothers of celestia and luna, sure but equestria only ever HAD a monarchy after celestia raised the sun for the first time. (Oh yeah and also they're wives)

Skyla is flurry heart's little sister, despite being the princess of weather she essentially lives in her sister's shadow. Cadence constantly ignores her because she wasn't born an alicorn and therefore isn't "special" like flurry is (oh and also skyla is asexual and i headcanon cadence to be acephobic) and she resents flurry for getting more attention than her
