MY LITTLE CORDYCEPS

“Fluttershy succumbed to the infection after one of her animals became a spore carrier. She attempted to help her animal and contain what she thought was a sickness in her herd. She had physical contact with infected blood once her animals became violent as well as inhaling the spores that quickly took over her home. The surrounding land along with any living being was quarantined by —— on xx/xx/xx. Fluttershy was taken in shortly after and had the infected limb amputated in hopes it would stop the spread of the infection. She turned hours after.

Bestie asked me to develop a more fungus based infection, so I did a ton of research into Cordyceps fungus. I tried so hard not to straight-up rip off The Last Of Us, but, ya know😅

"Princess Twilight sparkle puts in her entry reports of feeling 'dizzyness and hallucinations" within the first three days. She had been bitten by an odd creature that resembles "a large toad with fur". She had been sent to the hospital and has been transferred here to solitary confinement. Nothing too odd but we promised to keep a close eye... Just in case"

Log two

"Over the last week, exactly seven days after being admitted here Twilight Sparkles wound has gone yellow in colour and her height has increased by few centimeters, particularly in the neck. Her inner eyes (pupils and iris) have seemed to have shrunk. She has eaten and seemed to crave meat. Odd. Keeping a close eye on her"

Log Three

"It has been three weeks since Princess Twilight Sparkle was brought here. She seems to be in pain and we noticed she was having trouble walking. After getting our doctors in there, They discovered her hooves were seperating and becoming like paws. Unfortunately, doctor 32 had been bitten by Princess in the process and is now in another place recovering. We suspect that either he had done something that angered Princess or something else. Something bad. Her pupils and irises are completely gone, leaving her with bate blank eyes. Surprisingly parts of sharp bone (spine parts?) Have began poking from her skin. He wound is officially infected and oozing puss.

Log four

"Princess Twilight is loosing it. She has started to attack investigators and healers when they try to help her. It has been seven weeks since she was admitted. Deep wounds have begun to sprout all over her and bleeding same puss as her bite. She seems to permanent be crying puss, seemingly from pain. Her back has begun arching and stretching. It's causing her discomfort as she hasn't slept in days. We are planning to tape her down and put her under anesthesia in hope she will get some sleep"
