EOS annoucement as the game's approaching the 7th anniversary is crazy, but understandable as they have been supported the game for this long. Unfortunately the game lost sparks long ago with the controversy, but it's one of the longest running live service Eng otome game (a lot of Voltage party games closed within 2-3 yrs except for Samurai Love Ballad and their main paid app Love 365, Arithmetic closed their services just at the end of last year with their games being in limbo for years etc...)

the 100 Days with you event is still running, they're giving a new free Victor's SSR card some days later, I kind of hoped they would keep the game server running a bit longer without updates so people can catch up with all the cards they have but haven't read yet, but they will cut off service entirely on Mar 27th , like what they did to Mr Dream Date, time to do the catch up myself 😢

Thank you Victor, Lucien, Gavin, Kiro, and Shaw. You brought me through my 20s, the pandemic, grad school, moving across an ocean, and now the beginning of hard economic times. After 7 years, it’s time I continue on myself. Don’t wait up for me.

My mini escape is gone, but I’ll always hold these fond memories ♥️

And thank you Anna, Kiki, Willow, and Minor. Please help Mr. Love watch over our pets and plants in my stead 🙏🏼

Crawling out of my brief hiatus to share that this announcement singlehandedly surpassed my sadness over Panchi-kun.

I first downloaded the game in 2019 via a different app because it wasn't available in Singapore. I was drawn to Gavin, who was my inspiration for a lot of fics and ficlets that I've written during the pandemic. I have met many friends, writers, and fellow fangirls through this game. I can't remember when exactly I stopped playing, but my fondness for the characters (especially Gavin, Victor, and Shaw) remained the same.

To say that this announcement is heartbreaking is an understatement. I hope that they keep the app open at the very least so that we can continue to read the stories and access the cards we spent so much money on.

To my MLQC girlies, I share this heartbreak with you. It was a good run, and the boys certainly kept us entertained when we needed it most.

About the MLQC EOS Announcement...

I've already stated my feelings about the whole thing back on my Twitter account, so I won't be repeating myself here. But tldr; I am devastated. I think when I first heard it I was trying to wrap my head around the "WHY????" of it all, but after two days of sitting and processing the news since it was announced, I'm starting to be resigned to the reality of never getting to accompany Kiro (MY WIFE. MY LOVE. MY LIGHT.) again on this beautiful journey of ours, and here him call me "Miss Chips!" ever again.

That being said, I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS AS AN END. So for those wondering, yes, I'll still be here, translating Kiro's content and posting on my blog, because I'm way too invested in him after all these years not to, and it will take some time for me to slowly grow out of my obsession with him. But until then, Cheesy09 will still be here, keeping the torch lit for those that still love him.

I know that many of you guys will be moving on now that it's officially over for us Global players, but if you ever find yourself thinking about this little star of a man and want to chat, just know that I'll always be here!
