I FINISHED MY D&D CAMPAIGN!!!
3 years. 2 arcs. They went into a timeloop and watched the last days of a city destroyed during the fall of Netheril, then were sucked into Ravenloft and defeated the dread Lord Soth and his minions.
I CANNOT express how thankful I am for my group, and how much of an honor and a pleasure it was to run for them. This campaign has been going on since 2018, and I was the third DM to take over; after 5 years straight of DMing, though (I ran the first half of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist for a few years before this, and wove the plots together when I took over the game I just finished), I am thrilled to finally pass the torch onto one of my players, take a break, and work on my next arc while playing my healer for the next year or so. :)
(Gotta say though - having them rematerialize in front of a statue dedicated to them and then finding out 14 years had passed? The reactions were delicious.)
