Task 008: Happy Holidays!

With the holiday season not too far away, it’s high-time that we all started getting ready for it! So, for all students and faculty of Rebirth, tell us about what you’re doing for the holidays!

 FOR STUDENTS & FACULTY MEMBERS: 

Write a paragraph about any memories you’ve associated with the holiday season. What was the holiday season like for you as a child? Did you enjoy it? Hate it? Tell us all about it! 

Make a gifset of how you feel about the holiday season. Are you excited for the presents you have yet to open, or are you dreading the time spent with your family? 

Create a mood board of how you’re spending the holiday season. Are you decorating your house with lights? Are you wrapping presents for your loved ones? Give us some insight as to what you're doing! 

Be original and surprise us! If you wish to diverge from the tasks we’ve set, that’s alright! But please be mindful to tag all of your submissions: mm;task008. Good luck and happy holidays!

Task 007: Thanksgiving madness!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we want both students and faculty members of Rebirth to give us a little insight as to what they’re doing during the holiday. So tell us about it!

FOR STUDENTS & FACULTY MEMBERS:

Write a paragraph on what you are doing for Thanksgiving. Are you roasting a giant turkey for the whole family? Are you baking a pumpkin pie? Be sure to include any traditions you or your family may have and be as specific as possible!

Create a moodboard on how you feel about Thanksgiving. Are you excited about the food? Are you anxious about all the preparations? Bring on the gifs/pictures!

Make a photoset of your Thanksgiving feast. Give us the details! We can’t WAIT to see what you all come up with.

Task Palooza 31: Halloween Party!

Before getting into detail, please let it be known this event can be RPd on dash or discord. Members will have until November 7th to wrap up any starters they may have on dash and finish RPs on the IC group made specifically for the party!

With that said, the Halloween party is here! Spooky music, awesome lights, a dance floor, plenty of food and drinks. It’s sure to be a fun night. There will be a few games planned out, as well as group dances to be played throughout the night. 

Alcohol will be served to those who are old enough to drink. Be responsible, safe, and have plenty of fun!

Task Palooza 30: Drink or Food for Halloween Party!

Time to get things ready. Alongside decorations of the gymnasium, we’ll need plenty of food and drinks. 

So, administration is asking each student and faculty member to bring one drink or food tray to the dance. Alongside those, pizza and sandwiches will be provided, as well as bunch, so this is to make sure there’s plenty of choices for everyone to choose from.

Task Palooza 29: Dance Playlist

Time to get down to preparing the party. Everyone needs to participate to make it our party, not just administrations.

We’re asking every student to submit between five and ten songs they would like to hear at the dance. This can be your normal ‘dance’ songs, something with a little beat, the cha-cha slide, Halloween inspired music, or something classical. Show us the type of music your character is interested in.

An official playlist will be posted the day of the dance and will feature our favorites!

Each playlist submission is worth ten points~!

Task Palooza 28: Halloween Dance Outfit!

The only rule for this is: NO COSTUMES.

We would like all outfits to have some Halloween touch, but do not come dressed as a pirate. We’re asking for photosets or polyvore sets of your character’s outfit. Find a date out of a friend or relationship and talk out color schemes, etc. 

Be original and out there with your outfit.

Task Palooza 27: Halloween Inspired Cupcake Bake-Off!

Set-up in the courtyard will be ten booths, each holding five groups of students (between two and three students). Each group will present three cupcakes. Points will be rewarded for not only taste, but presentation, decor, and originality as well. Each student must contribute in some way to at least one of the cupcakes, whether it’s doing the baking, mixing, decorating, or making a small presentation for the cupcake.

Work with your group to put in your submission in form of a photo-set with a description of each cupcake’s presentation (ie: a red velvet cupcakes set-up like a tombstone). One person only needs to post and the others can reblog, but please tag who was involved in the group. 

Each person in the group will receive a whomping twenty-five points!

Task Palooza 26: Favorite Fall Actvity

Time to get with a partner. Your character and their partner will be tasked with doing two activities throughout the day. The first being an activity character A chooses and the other being an activity character B chooses. This is an opportunity to get someone involved in one of your favorite fall activities. From fishing to leaf viewings to drawing on pumpkins or making halloween treats.
