By now, he's more or less used to Hotaru's nature. Hence, when they lean into his space he doesn't think much of it. Although, he incorrectly assumes what they have in mind. He thinks they are going to whisper a joke in his ear or sneak in a side hug. The kiss is unexpected, leaving him blinking in surprise as they casually go back to cooking dinner. That was nice. Spending time with them in such a simple, domestic manner is also nice.

i have a very soft blanket that i put under the radiator for my cat and whenever she goes to it i can always hear her purring loudly :))
