I know it's still a few months until the revival but has anyone made a bingo card? I feel like we should. Things we hope and think we will see, no matter how far fetched.
I got three for sure: Agent Stacy (or Perry-Stacy friendship), Suzy-Norm interactions and Milo crossover (at the very least a cameo)
What are yours? :)
Welp, watching Milo Murphy's Law has been a pleasant experience! I really need to pour my thoughts somewhere. If you wanna hear a first time viewer's thoughts, go under the cut
I understand how dissapointing it is that it got cut short, but I'm happy to have seen what I could see. Yes, the corssover is handled perhaps a bit poorly; yes, the ending is super rushed and not satisyfing at all; yes, some lore stuff regarding Murphy's Law could be better. But what ya' gonna do?
I'm a bit sad I was constantly comparing my watching experience with the one of Phineas and Ferb. They're different shows, done at a different time, and I'm in a different poin in my life as well. In that faith I'll keep the comparisons of my experience for another time, since all I'm saying here anyway is subjective.
Guys, I LOVE Milo. What a guy. Truly the character ever. I was always more interested on what happened surrounding him and his friends than what Cavendish and Dakota were up to. He bounces off Melissa and Zack very well imo. He is my favorite in the show, up there with Diogee (it took me a google search to understand that his name was the letters D-O-G spelled, embarrasing). Sara is a close second, though at first I couldn't stop hearing Sadie from Steven Universe 😅
I didn't find any of the cast annoying (not even Doofenshmirtz really, though I do think he's unnecessary), and the jokes landed with me. I love stupidly specific recurring gags that are used many times, so I was over the moon. I was on board with the fourth wall breakings towards the end of season 2.
The songs are nice, not many bangers with the exception of the main theme, which I have listened on loop for a non-normal amount of time by now. I never skipped the intro. I probably like it so much less bc of the song and more because I FUCKING. LOVE. MILO
Dakavendish was as gay as everyone said, glad to not be dissapointed in that regard... Dakota, that is not something you do for your coworker... To think that I already knew about it and I was still shocked as the episode progressed. Wild.
Gosh, I'll be swallowing fanfic up like crazy. I might even write some, who knows. Glad to join my fellow dwampyverse fans... In a few months when the fever goes down a bit, I'll need to start Hamster and Gretel, to complete the ultimate trio.
Something I've been doing now that I've finally watched Milo Murphy's Law is pay attention to what can go wrong in any place I find myself (with a bit of the cartoon logic applied).
I was in a big tent at an event, and the entrance had some beams being held by rope in tension that some kids were using to play. They were super well fastened of course, and the kids were hanging from them and still held. But, what could go wrong? A rope could snap, the beam could fall, hit a kid, bring that portion of the tent down, bury some people in it, or break equipment.
A shop had a ladder propped against the wall just above the entrance. You could see it was well positioned but... What could go wrong! Let's see. Bottom part slides backwards, ladder falls, someone is exiting at the same time, gets hit in the head.
And it's really really fun. If Milo were there that's what would happen. And more. I love imagining all the disaster scenarios.
Back when I started my pnf rewatch and got into the fandom last year I considered watching MML then too. I decided not to cause I was to into pnf and all I would do was wait for Doofenshmirrz and other characters I knew, and not give Milo and company a chance
Now I want to start watching it for what it is in itself but I'm worried the recuerent pnf characters are going to take away from the MML experience 😭 There is no win scenario lol
Jokes aside, I think it's time my fellow dwampyverse enthusiasts. I'm watching Milo Murphy's Law ✨
